My sister-in-law asked me if I would help her build a media cabinet for her living room to fit perfectly underneath her window sill. She was tired of the bulky corner cabinet that she previously had housing her VCR, cable box and game console. She found a modern one she liked from West Elm (that is no longer available) and I set out to build something similar and custom to fit her space. I even came up with an inexpensive way of making the legs without having to purchase some $10-a-leg premade one.
